From Anatomy to Angle Grinders: In this course, you will learn hoof trimming from the ground up while strengthening your knowledge of hooves and proper trimming and treatment techniques.
Make a Difference for Your Cows with the Right Knowledge
The beginner hoof trimming course is aimed at those who have not previously participated in a hoof trimming course but would like to learn how to perform hoof trimming and treatment on dairy cows.
The teaching is based on your individual prerequisites. Whether you are a farmer or an employee, the course is designed to strengthen your hoof care foundation both theoretically and practically, giving you a solid understanding of hoof trimming techniques. The course focuses on providing you with practical skills that you can take home and apply directly in your daily work.
Course Structure and Content
The course combines theory and practice, giving you thorough knowledge of hooves and ample opportunity to train your practical trimming skills on slaughtered legs.
The instruction is delivered by an experienced hoof trimmer and hoof care advisor. You will receive a comprehensive introduction to hoof anatomy and health, as well as proper trimming techniques following the White Line Atlas method.
